The Story Behind Smiley Strokes
Hi, I’m Marilyn Lopez, the artist and heart behind Smiley Strokes. My journey has always been rooted in creativity and connection. As a professional artist, I have spent years developing my work in watercolor, illustration, and community art, while also dedicating 10 years as an educator supporting children in special education.
Working closely with children and families taught me the importance of creating safe, joyful, and meaningful experiences for every child. Through that journey, I discovered a way to combine my passion for art with my love for bringing smiles to others.
That is how Smiley Strokes was born a space where creativity meets celebration. What started as an artistic passion grew into a family-friendly entertainment service offering face painting, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, and waterproof airbrush tattoos for events across DFW.
Every design is created with care, professionalism, and the belief that art has the power to create unforgettable memories.

Submit your event details to receive a personalized quote. We take care of the entertainment so you can enjoy the moment while we create colorful memories for your guests. To ensure availability, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance. Your date is secured once the deposit is received.
